This piece is part of a vintage wood frame collection that I made in 2020. I sourced vintage wood frames that had beautiful photographs in them, and collaged on top of what was already there. The frames came from thrift stores, garage sales, and antique shops. It was a project that blended the use of found and vintage with contemporary imagery. While the frame isn’t brand new or perfect, each piece came together just as it should. I think that is what collage is all about- bringing things together that might not naturally exist elsewhere.
