This collage was created for a social media collage challenge with the theme of “shadows.” The piece began with the gorgeous backdrop of the hawaiian mountain range, layered with an old architectural square. The figure itself already had a lot of dark shadows, so I wanted to create a bright "shadow" from a pink floral pattern. The result is a dreamy scene that intersects the natural world with the architectural.
