This piece was inspired by a trip to the Pacific North West. I created this painting after going on a trip to Portland and falling completely in love with the climate and landscape there. Being in a place where everything is covered in moss and greenery is where I feel the most at home. This piece is part of a new body of work made up of acrylic abstract paintings. The inspiration for the work was the human connection to the natural world, and the emotions we experience from interacting with and honoring our home, the earth.
