This collage was created for a social media collage challenge with the theme of “horizon.” I was inspired to use micro photography of diamonds and pearls which contrast with the rocky, brown ocean scene- but ironically begin their journey into polished glittery jewels from that muddy and natural state. The textures and colors of this piece don't scream nature, but each piece on its own comes from the earth - each starting its life in its own unique way.
