This piece was inspired by one of my favorite things on the planet- moss. I always find myself so enchanted by this diverse and beautiful plant- it makes its way to rocks, wood, pavement, even buildings. To me, it serves as a symbol of the stength of nature through the presense of human innovation. This piece is part of a new body of work made up of acrylic abstract paintings. The inspiration for the work was the human connection to the natural world, and the emotions we experience from interacting with and honoring our home, the earth.
